Current Event Response due Sept. 19
What makes a candidate presidential?
In the course of the presidential election, the candidates will discuss both their viewpoints on the important issues and their backgrounds. When they discuss their backgrounds, they will talk about families, accomplishments, religion, where they grew up, etc. When they talk about the issues, they will discuss what they will do if elected. However, they might have more pressing concerns when they take office or The Congress might not like their ideas.
What do you think is more important the positions a candidate takes or his/her background?
